Ivory Coast defender Ivan NTakpe joins Vitkovice from Banik Ostrava B on loan
Eighteen-year-old Ivory Coast centre-back Ivan N’Takpe has joined Czech club Vitkovice from Banik Ostrava B on loan.
The move was completed on 15 September 2026 and takes N’Takpe from the Chance Narodni Liga to Vitkovice’s MSFL side. His loan is scheduled to run until 31 December 2026, when he is due to return to Banik Ostrava B.
N’Takpe had been registered with Banik Ostrava B since July, having moved there from Ostrava Under-19s. He made the switch after spending part of the previous campaign with Vitkovice Under-19s, where he played on loan from Ostrava’s youth setup.
The defender’s return to Vitkovice places him back at a club he already represented at academy level. He joined Vitkovice Under-19s on loan on 16 March 2026, before returning to Ostrava Under-19s at the end of June.
N’Takpe began his time in the Czech football system after leaving AFE Abidjan in Ivory Coast for Ostrava Under-19s in March 2026. The move was his first recorded transfer away from the Ivorian club and preceded his temporary spell with Vitkovice’s youth side.
He arrives at Vitkovice without a senior appearance for Banik Ostrava B during the current Chance Narodni Liga campaign. The 2026-27 competition had eight possible matches at the time of the transfer, but N’Takpe had not featured in any of them.
At 18, N’Takpe is one of the younger players moving between the two Czech clubs during the season. His main position is centre-back, providing Vitkovice with a defender who has already spent time within the club’s structure.
The transfer also continues a series of moves involving N’Takpe since he entered Czech football. He moved from AFE Abidjan to Ostrava Under-19s, spent time with Vitkovice Under-19s, returned to Ostrava, and then progressed to Banik Ostrava B before making his latest temporary switch.
N’Takpe’s move to Vitkovice is a completed loan transfer, with the defender contracted to remain there until the end of December 2026.
