Juventus consider move for German-Moroccan striker Younes Ebnoutalib in January
Juventus are considering Eintracht Frankfurt forward Younes Ebnoutalib as one of several candidates to strengthen their attack during the January transfer window.
According to Calciomercato, the Italian club are looking to sign another striker after struggling to find consistency in front of goal this season.
Manchester United’s Benjamin Sesko is also among the players being considered, alongside Folarin Balogun of AS Monaco and Brian Brobbey of Sunderland.
Juventus assess attacking options
Randal Kolo Muani and Nick Woltemade have struggled to make a significant impact, while head coach Luciano Spalletti is reluctant to start both players together.
Starting the pair would leave him with limited attacking alternatives on the bench, prompting Juventus to explore other options ahead of January.
Sesko remains a possible target, although the Slovenian is currently sidelined with an injury.
Balogun has scored once in five Ligue 1 appearances this season and is contracted to Monaco until June 2028.
Brobbey, meanwhile, has registered three goals in eight matches for Sunderland and recently extended his contract until 2031.
Ebnoutalib among the candidates
Ebnoutalib has attracted attention after an impressive scoring record with Eintracht Frankfurt, having netted eight goals in 10 competitive matches.
Antonio Raimondo of Frosinone is another name on Juventus’ list. The forward scored nine goals in 11 matches across Serie A and the Coppa Italia during his loan spell at the club.
Juventus are expected to assess their options before deciding which striker to pursue in the January transfer window.
