Ayoub Boulbir: Morocco goalkeeper joins Ben Guerir on free transfer
Morocco goalkeeper Ayoub Boulbir has joined Ben Guerir from Khemisset on a free transfer, strengthening the club’s options between the posts ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The 32-year-old completed the move on 15 September 2026 after spending the previous season with Khemisset. Boulbir had joined Khemisset from MAS Fes on 25 August 2025, also as a free agent, and now moves on after one campaign with the club.
Boulbir’s arrival continues a career spent largely within Moroccan football. Before joining Khemisset, he was with MAS Fes, where he returned in August 2024 after a spell at Stade Marocain. He also spent part of the 2024-25 season on loan at El-Mansour before returning to MAS Fes at the end of the temporary move.
The goalkeeper first joined Stade Marocain from AS FAR Rabat in August 2023. His time at AS FAR followed a free transfer from Stade Marocain in August 2022, completing a move that brought him to the club with which he won the Moroccan championship during the 2022-23 season.
Boulbir’s earlier career included spells with Union Assa Zag and US Sale. He moved from US Sale to Union Assa Zag in July 2018 before joining Stade Marocain the following year.
Born in Rabat, Boulbir stands 1.83m tall and has represented clubs exclusively in Morocco during the recorded stages of his senior career. His move to Ben Guerir is the latest in a series of free transfers between Moroccan sides, following his switches to Khemisset and MAS Fes.
Ben Guerir have now secured the goalkeeper’s services as he begins the next chapter of his career with the club. Boulbir joined the club from Khemisset on 15 September 2026 on a free transfer.
