Senegal international M’Baye Niang agrees deal with French side Dunkerque

Senegal international M’Baye Niang is set to continue his career in France after Ligue 2 side USL Dunkerque reportedly reached a verbal agreement to sign the former AC Milan striker.

The 31-year-old is expected to join Dunkerque on a one-year contract, with an option for a further season, according to L’Équipe.

Experienced Senegal forward set for French return

Niang brings considerable experience to the proposed move, having represented Senegal on 23 occasions and scored four goals for the West African nation.

Born in Meulan, France, the forward has enjoyed a lengthy career across European football and has previously played for Italian giants AC Milan, English side Watford and Serie A club Torino.

His experience at both club and international level could prove valuable for Dunkerque as they strengthen their squad.

Dunkerque continue experienced recruitment drive

The French club have already secured the signing of former France international Steven Nzonzi, 37, during the summer transfer window.
