Shooting Stars prepare for CS Sfaxien clash as CAF team news is confirmed

Shooting Stars will host Tunisia’s CS Sfaxien in the first preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup on Saturday, 5 September 2026, with the match scheduled to begin at 15:00 GMT at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Ibadan.

The Nigerian side’s starting XI has been announced just minutes before kick-off, while CS Sfaxien’s team remains to be confirmed.

Shooting Stars will begin the match with Mustapha in goal. Yusuf, Desmond, Gbolagade and Falke are named in the team, with Taofeek and Akala also included in the starting line-up.
