Zamalek begin African campaign as Real Madrid, Liverpool and PSG headline Friday fixtures

Zamalek will begin their African campaign against Djibouti’s AS Port in the first leg of the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League on a busy Friday of domestic and continental football on 4 September 2026.

The match will be played at Cairo Stadium at 20:00 and will be broadcast on On Sport.

Liverpool open the third round of the Premier League when they travel to Ipswich Town at 22:00. The game will be shown on beIN Sports 2, with Ahmed Al Balushi providing commentary.

In La Liga, Real Madrid face a demanding away fixture against Real Betis in the opening match of the fourth round. Kick-off is at 22:00, with the match available on beIN Sports 3 and commentary from Issam Chawali.
