Al Ahly secure fifth contract renewal as Karim Al-Dheeb commits until 2030

Egyptian giants Al Ahly have extended Karim Al-Dheeb’s contract until 2030, making him the fifth player to commit his long-term future to the club during the current renewal campaign.

The Cairo-based side announced the agreement in an official statement on Wednesday evening as they continue efforts to maintain stability within the squad.

Al Ahly confirmed that all administrative and financial procedures surrounding the new deal had been completed.

“Karim El-Debis has extended his contract with the club until 2030, and Essam Serag El-Din, head of the contracts sector, has completed all the administrative and financial procedures in full coordination with Wael Gomaa, the football director.”

Fifth player to sign new deal

El-Debis follows Emam Ashour, Marwan Attia, Mostafa Shobeir and Omar Moawad in agreeing new contracts with the African football giants.

Ashour, Attia, Moawad and El-Debis have all been tied to Al Ahly until 2030, while goalkeeper Shobeir has signed a contract running until 2029.

The latest renewal reflects Al Ahly’s determination to secure the futures of key players and build continuity within the squad.
