Guinea defender Souleymane Diane makes Slovan B switch from VAFC U19

Guinea defender Souleymane Diane has joined Slovan B from VAFC U19, completing a move to the Slovak club on 3 September 2026.

The 19-year-old centre-back now moves into the II Liga after spending the previous season with VAFC U19. Diane, who was born in Conakry on 21 June 2007, stands 1.84m tall and has represented Guinea at international level.

Diane joined VAFC U19 from Angers SCO U19 in July 2024. His latest transfer marks the next stage of his club career, with Slovan B becoming his third recorded team since he entered organised youth football.

The defender’s move comes after a season in which he was part of the National U19 Championship structure with VAFC U19. He made his switch to Slovan B before the Slovak club’s campaign in the II Liga, the second tier of football in Slovakia.

At Slovan B, Diane joins a side operating within the Slovan Bratislava setup. The club’s reserve team provides his next competitive environment after his time in France’s under-19 football, although no senior appearance record has been established in the available career statistics.

Diane’s early career began with Angers SCO U19 before his move to VAFC U19. The transfer to Angers took place in July 2023, giving the defender experience within French youth football before his move abroad.

His arrival gives Slovan B a young defender with experience of academy football in France and a connection to Guinea through his nationality. The move was registered on 3 September 2026, with Diane leaving VAFC U19 to join the Slovak side.

Souleymane Diane has therefore completed his move from VAFC U19 to Slovan B and is now part of the club’s II Liga squad.
