Brazil to face Japan and Singapore in November friendlies

Brazil will play Japan and Singapore in a four-team international friendly tournament in Asia during the November international window.

The tournament will be hosted by Singapore and will take place from 13 to 17 November. Brazil, Paraguay, Japan and Singapore will compete in the event, which will give each side two matches across the four-day schedule.

Singapore will begin the tournament against Paraguay on 13 November. Brazil will then face Japan the following day, in a meeting between two teams that previously met in the World Cup.

The final day will see Singapore play Brazil, while Japan will take on Paraguay. Those matches will complete the schedule for the friendly competition.

Brazil’s participation means the Selecao will travel to Singapore for two fixtures during the November break. Japan will also play twice, first against Brazil and then against Paraguay, while the hosts will meet Paraguay before facing Brazil.

The tournament brings together the four national sides for a compact international programme, with the opening fixtures spread across 13 and 14 November before the concluding matches on 17 November.

Brazil and Japan have already faced one another at the World Cup. Brazil successfully eliminated Japan in the round of 32, and the two teams will meet again in Singapore during the upcoming November international window.

The event will therefore feature a repeat meeting between Brazil and Japan, alongside fixtures involving Paraguay and Singapore. Its format will see the four participating teams share the schedule over the period from 13 to 17 November, with the opening match involving the hosts and the closing day featuring both remaining games.
