Senegal midfielder Papa Samsou Niang leaves Depor Fabril after six appearances

Senegalese central midfielder Papa Samsou Niang has left Depor Fabril and is now without a club, bringing his spell with the Spanish side to an end.

Niang, 20, departed the club on 28 August 2026 after joining from Senegalese side Keur Madior FC earlier in the year. He moved to Depor Fabril on a free transfer on 16 January 2026.

The midfielder made six appearances in Segunda Federacion – Group I during the 2025-26 campaign, playing 176 minutes. He did not score in those outings.

Born in Thies, Senegal, Niang operates primarily in central midfield. His time at Depor Fabril followed his move from Keur Madior FC, marking his first recorded spell with a Spanish club.

Niang’s departure leaves him available to continue his career elsewhere after less than a year with Depor Fabril. The 20-year-old’s recorded market value is €25,000.

Papa Samsou Niang completed his departure from Depor Fabril on 28 August 2026 and is without a club.
