CAF Champions League: RS Berkane take control after Lamlioui double at Star Sport Academy

RS Berkane earned a valuable 2-0 away win against Star Sport Academy in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

Oussama Lamlioui scored both goals for the Moroccan club, putting them ahead in the 14th minute before doubling the advantage just before half-time in the 45th minute.

The result gives RS Berkane a two-goal cushion to take into the return leg and leaves them in a strong position to progress in the competition.

Star Sport Academy must now produce a significantly improved performance if they are to overturn the deficit, while RS Berkane will focus on protecting their advantage and securing qualification for the next stage.
