CAF Confederation Cup: CO Korhogo hold AS FAR to goalless draw

Club Omnisport de Korhogo secured a 0-0 draw against AS FAR de Rabat in the first leg of their second preliminary-round tie in the CAF Confederation Cup on Saturday, 17 October 2026.

The match was played at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium in Cote d’Ivoire, with neither side able to gain an advantage before the return fixture in Morocco.

The opening half was evenly contested, although AS FAR showed greater initiative during some periods and created opportunities without finding a way past the home defence.

CO Korhogo increased the intensity after the interval and put the Moroccan side under sustained pressure. The Ivorian team appeared to have taken the lead, but the goal was ruled out for offside.

Both teams continued to search for a breakthrough until the final whistle, but the score remained goalless.

The tie will be decided in the second leg at Rabat on 25 October. AS FAR will have home support behind them as they seek to secure qualification.
