Rayan Fofana: Le Havre linked with Lens forward

French-Ivorian centre-forward Rayan Fofana is being linked with a move from Lens to Ligue 1 club Le Havre AC, with the 20-year-old remaining under contract at Lens until 30 June 2029.

Fofana has made one appearance for Lens during the 2026-27 campaign, playing 15 minutes in the Trophee des Champions without scoring. He has not featured in Ligue 1 this season.

The Paris-born striker moved from RC Lens Under-19s to the senior team in July 2025, after joining the club’s Under-17 setup from Drancy on a free transfer in 2021. He progressed through Lens’ academy before making the step up to the first-team squad.

Fofana was part of the Lens squad that won the French Cup in the 2025-26 season and the French Super Cup at the beginning of the current campaign. His listed market value is €8m.

The potential move would keep Fofana in France’s top flight, with Lens and Le Havre both competing in Ligue 1. Fofana’s current role has been limited at the start of the season, while his long-term Lens contract remains in place.
