Jordy Soladio leaves Belgium for fresh start with Vict. Rosport

Belgian-Democratic Republic of Congo striker Jordy Soladio has joined Luxembourg club Vict. Rosport from Francs Borains on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old centre-forward switches from Belgium’s Challenger Pro League to the BGL Ligue, bringing experience from a career that has included spells in Belgium, Luxembourg, Latvia and Israel.

Soladio’s move was completed on 27 August 2026, after one season with Francs Borains. He arrived at the Belgian club from Israeli side Maccabi Petah Tikva in July 2025, also on a free transfer.

Before joining Francs Borains, Soladio spent the second half of the 2024-25 season with Maccabi Petah Tikva. That move followed a spell at FCV Dender EH, whom he joined from Latvian club Liepaja in January 2023.

His career has also taken him to Luxembourg, where he previously played for Vict. Rosport and Titus Petange. Soladio joined Vict. Rosport on loan from Titus Petange in July 2020 before making the move permanent two years later, when he switched to Titus Petange.

The forward began his senior career in Belgium with Dessel Sport after leaving KV Mechelen Under-21s. He had earlier been part of OH Leuven’s Under-21 set-up.

Soladio stands 1.85m tall and is predominantly right-footed. His return to Vict. Rosport gives the Luxembourg club a forward who has played across several European leagues, while also marking another change of country in a career that has regularly involved cross-border moves.

The transfer comes after Vict. Rosport’s move into the 2026-27 campaign, with Soladio joining the squad after the opening stage of the season. His recorded market value is €200,000, although no transfer fee was paid for his switch from Francs Borains.

He becomes the latest addition to a club competing in Luxembourg’s BGL Ligue, following a career path that has included clubs from Belgium’s domestic system as well as sides in Israel and Latvia.

Soladio’s free transfer to Vict. Rosport was completed on 27 August 2026.
