Mohamed Amoura to Udinese: Wolfsburg forward emerges as Serie A transfer target

Algerian forward Mohamed Amoura, currently at Wolfsburg, has been linked with a move to Udinese in Serie A.

The 26-year-old centre-forward joined Wolfsburg permanently from Union Saint-Gilloise in July 2025 after an initial loan spell, with the German club paying a reported €14.75m. He remains under contract until 30 June 2029 and has a current market value of €20m.

The proposed transfer is currently assessed at 48%, with no confirmation that an agreement has been reached between the clubs. A move would take Amoura from Wolfsburg’s current campaign in the 2. Bundesliga to Italy’s top flight.

Amoura has yet to make a league appearance for Wolfsburg this season, having been an unused player in the club’s opening two matches. He also did not feature in their DFB-Pokal statistics. At international level, he appeared once for Algeria at the 2026 World Cup, playing seven per cent of the available minutes without scoring or assisting.

Before his permanent move to Wolfsburg, Amoura spent the 2024-25 season at the club on loan from Union Saint-Gilloise. He had joined the Belgian side from Swiss club FC Lugano in 2023.

Any move to Udinese would therefore represent a change of club only one year after Wolfsburg completed his permanent signing, but Amoura’s long-term contract remains in place.
