USM Oujda strengthen their defence with Morocco right-back Rabah Koukouch
USM Oujda have signed Morocco right-back Rabah Koukouch from Fath Nador on a free transfer.
The 25-year-old defender joined the Moroccan club on 24 August 2026 and has signed a contract running until 30 June 2028. Koukouch becomes part of Oujda’s defensive options after making a series of club moves across Moroccan football in recent seasons.
Koukouch made one appearance for Fath Nador before leaving the club, playing 12 minutes in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine. He now moves to USM Oujda with experience of playing at right-back and a preference for using his right foot.
The transfer continues a run of free moves for Koukouch. He joined Fath Nador from CA Khenifra on 18 August 2025, having arrived at Khenifra from Rapide Oued Zem earlier that month. His spell with Rapide Oued Zem began in January 2025, when he moved from CA Khenifra.
Before those changes, Koukouch spent time with CA Khenifra after joining from ASUI FC in August 2023. He had previously been part of Berkane Reserve, from whom he moved to ASUI FC in July 2022.
Born in Al Hoceima on 25 December 2000, Koukouch has spent his career in Morocco and now remains in the country with a move to Oujda. His arrival gives USM Oujda a defender who can operate on the right side of the back line and completes another step in a career built through clubs in the Moroccan game.
Koukouch’s agreement keeps him at USM Oujda through the end of June 2028, following his free transfer from Fath Nador.
