Achraf Hakimi warns PSG must be at their best against Barcelona

Achraf Hakimi has warned Paris Saint-Germain that they must deliver a top-level performance to overcome Barcelona when the European heavyweights meet in the Champions League.

According to SPORT, the Moroccan right-back recognises the quality of Hansi Flick’s side and expects a demanding encounter against a team that has impressed with its performances this season.

“It will be an exciting match for us and the fans against one of the best teams in the world at the moment,” Hakimi said.

The PSG defender stressed that the French champions cannot afford to underestimate their opponents, despite their positive results against Barcelona in recent years. He believes preparation and consistency will be crucial if the Parisians are to secure all three points.

“We will have to be perfectly prepared and deliver our best performance to take the three points, as we did against Manchester City,” he added.
