Ismaila Sarr transfer: Galatasaray link emerges for Crystal Palace winger

Senegal winger Ismaila Sarr is the subject of a rumoured move from Crystal Palace to Galatasaray in Turkey’s Super Lig.

The proposed switch is currently assessed at 60%, with Sarr’s market value listed at €45m. No transfer fee has been reported, but any move would involve a player who remains under contract at Palace until 30 June 2029.

Sarr, 28, joined the Premier League club from Marseille on 1 August 2024 for €15m. He played a significant role in Palace’s successful 2025-26 campaign, when the club won the English FA Cup and the Uefa Conference League. He also finished as the Conference League’s leading scorer with nine goals.

The right winger has yet to make an appearance in the 2026-27 Premier League season. He did, however, score four goals and provide two assists in four possible World Cup 2026 matches for Senegal, starting every game and featuring for 94% of the available minutes.

Sarr began his senior career in Senegal before moving to France and later England, representing Stade Rennais and Watford before joining Marseille. His previous transfers included a €30m move from Rennes to Watford in 2019.

The rumour places him among Galatasaray’s potential targets, while his long-term Palace contract means the London club is not facing an imminent free-transfer departure.
