Muaither SC recruit Sudan defender Al-Senussi after Al-Shahania spell
Sudan centre-back Mulham Al-Senussi has joined Muaither SC from Al-Shahania, strengthening the Qatari Second Division club’s defensive options ahead of the new season.
The 21-year-old completed the move on 23 August 2026 after spending the previous campaign with Al-Shahania. No transfer fee has been given for the switch.
Al-Senussi, who is left-footed, has played in central defence throughout his recorded club career. His arrival gives Muaither an additional option in the heart of their defence as the club prepares for its upcoming Qatari Second Division campaign.
He made one appearance in the QSL Cup, playing 45 minutes. He has also been listed in the wider competition records for the QSL Relegation, Stars League and Amir Cup.
Al-Shahania was the player’s second club in Qatar. He joined them from Umm Salal in July 2025, also on a free transfer, before moving to Muaither a little over a year later.
Before his spell with Al-Shahania, Al-Senussi represented Umm Salal after leaving Al-Markhiya Reserves in July 2024. That move was also completed without a transfer fee.
His latest change of club continues a short sequence of moves within Qatar, with Muaither now becoming the third senior side he has joined since beginning that run in 2024. The defender’s nationality and position make him one of the club’s new defensive additions for the 2026-27 season.
Al-Senussi has now officially switched from Al-Shahania to Muaither SC.
