Senegal winger Pape Marega switches to Magusa TG after rapid Turkey spell

Senegal winger Pape Marega has joined Magusa TG on a free transfer from Turkish club A. Keciorengucu, completing his move to Cyprus at the age of 20.

The left-footed attacker makes the switch after only a brief spell with A. Keciorengucu, where he arrived from Kucuk Kaymakli on 12 August 2026. Marega’s move to Magusa TG was completed on 23 August, giving him a third club since the start of his senior career.

Marega began his recent sequence of transfers with Jolof OC, leaving the Senegalese club for Kucuk Kaymakli on 17 September 2025. He then moved to A. Keciorengucu before securing another free transfer, this time to Magusa TG.

The player is listed as a left winger and operates primarily on the left side of the attack. His preferred left foot is suited to that role, although no further positional details have been disclosed as part of the transfer.

Marega was born on 25 January 2006 and is one of the younger additions to Magusa TG’s squad. His arrival also represents a move across national football systems, from A. Keciorengucu’s 1.Lig environment in Turkey to a new chapter with the Cypriot club.

The transfer comes at the beginning of the 2026-27 campaign. Marega has not yet made an appearance in the season’s recorded competition for Magusa TG, and the move gives the club a new attacking option as the campaign progresses.

His transfer history shows that all three of his latest club changes have been completed without a fee. He joined Kucuk Kaymakli from Jolof OC, transferred to A. Keciorengucu in August and has now moved on to Magusa TG.

Marega’s arrival is therefore the latest step in a quickly changing period of his career. At 20, he brings experience of clubs in Senegal and Turkey while beginning his association with Magusa TG as a free agent.

The Senegal international? No the data only identifies Marega’s nationality, not an international career, so no national-team record can be added to the story.

Magusa TG have completed the signing of Pape Marega from A. Keciorengucu on a free transfer.
