Lomalisa Mutambala linked with Bandari FC move

Lomalisa Mutambala, the 33-year-old DR Congo left-back at Aca. Lobito, is being linked with a move to Kenyan club Bandari FC.

The defender joined the Angolan side from Kabuscorp SC on 4 February 2026, having spent the first half of the 2025-26 season with Kabuscorp after moving from Wiliete SC.

A move to Bandari would be Mutambala’s latest change of club after a series of transfers across Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo in recent seasons. He previously played for Sagrada Esperanca, Young Africans, Bravos do Maquis and GD Interclube, while his earlier career included a spell with Belgian club Mouscron.

Mutambala has recorded 30 appearances in the CAF Champions League, providing two assists, and has also played 13 times in the CAF Confederation Cup. His continental experience comes alongside six appearances in Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League and one in the Croky Cup.

The reported link with Bandari comes less than seven months after Mutambala joined Aca. Lobito. No transfer fee has been established in connection with the potential move, and there has been no confirmation that an agreement has been reached.

Mutambala is currently an Aca. Lobito player, with the proposed switch to Bandari remaining at the rumour stage.
