Mohamed Berte: Belgium and Ivory Coast forward joins Cracovia from Dender for €500,000
Belgium and Ivory Coast centre-forward Mohamed Berte has joined Polish club Cracovia from FCV Dender EH for €500,000.
The 24-year-old has signed a contract running until 30 June 2029 after completing his move on 19 August 2026. Berte switches from Belgium’s Challenger Pro League to the Ekstraklasa, Poland’s top division.
Born in Brussels on 25 March 2002, Berte stands 1.75m tall and is a right-footed attacking player whose preferred position is centre-forward. His dual nationality links him to both Belgium and Ivory Coast.
Berte spent the previous stage of his career with Dender, where he played in Belgium’s second tier. His move to Cracovia represents a change of country and league as he begins a four-year contract with the Krakow-based club.
The transfer fee is €500,000, while Berte’s current market value is listed at €650,000. His highest recorded market value is €1.2m.
Cracovia become Berte’s new club as he enters the next phase of his career in the Ekstraklasa. The deal places the forward under contract with the Polish side through the end of June 2029.
Berte’s transfer from FCV Dender EH to Cracovia was completed on 19 August 2026.
