Pyramids FC lead El Merriekh Bentiu 1-0 at half-time in their CAF Champions League second preliminary round tie.

Saber scored the only goal of the first half in the 32nd minute, giving the Egyptian club the advantage before the interval.

El Merriekh Bentiu must now respond after the break if they are to draw level and keep their hopes of progressing alive.

Pyramids FC will aim to protect their lead in the second half, while the South Sudanese side need to be more clinical in attack to revive the contest.
