Troyes linked with Lommel SK midfielder Dermane Karim

Togolese midfielder Dermane Karim is being linked with a move from Lommel SK to Troyes, with the French club understood to be monitoring the 22-year-old attacking midfielder.

Karim is contracted to Lommel until 30 June 2028 and has a market value of €2.5m. The Belgium-based club signed him from Feyenoord Under-21s in July 2023 for €2.1m, giving him a long-term agreement that would mean any move is likely to involve a transfer fee.

He returned to Lommel at the end of June after the conclusion of a loan spell with French club Lorient during the 2025-26 season. Before that, Karim spent part of the 2024-25 campaign on loan at KV Kortrijk.

The right-footed midfielder has yet to feature for Lommel in the 2026-27 Jupiler Pro League season, despite the club having played two possible matches. He remains registered as a Lommel player while Troyes, who compete in Ligue 1, are linked with the transfer.

Karim began his senior club career after moving from Ghanaian side Planete Foot to Feyenoord’s Under-21 team in January 2022. He joined Lommel the following year and has since had loan spells in Belgium and France. No transfer fee or agreement with Troyes has been reported, and Karim’s current contract with Lommel runs through June 2028.
