Napoli linked with Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee in Serie A move
Joshua Zirkzee, the Dutch-Nigerian forward at Manchester United, has been linked with a move to Napoli.
The 25-year-old centre-forward joined United on 14 July 2024 and is now the subject of reported interest from the Serie A club. Zirkzee’s possible move would take him from the Premier League to Italy, with Napoli identified as the club pursuing the deal.
Zirkzee’s contract at Old Trafford runs until 30 June 2029, meaning United are not facing an imminent expiry decision over the player. His current market value is listed at €20m.
The forward began his senior career with Bayern Munich and was part of the club’s Champions League-winning squad in 2019-20. He also won two German league titles and a German Cup during his time in Munich.
Zirkzee later established himself at Bologna, where he was named the club’s best young player in 2024 before joining Manchester United. His current role is as a centre-forward, and he has represented both the Netherlands and Nigeria by nationality.
The reported Napoli interest comes with Zirkzee still contracted to United for a further three years. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, so the potential move remains at the rumour stage.
