Jackson linked with Napoli switch after Chelsea return
Nicolas Jackson, the Senegalese-Gambian centre-forward at Chelsea, is being linked with a move to Napoli in Serie A.
Jackson has started 50% of Chelsea’s possible matches this season, making four appearances and contributing one assist without scoring. He has played 60% of the available minutes so far.
The 25-year-old returned to Chelsea on 30 June after spending the 2025-26 season on loan at Bayern Munich, where he won the Bundesliga and German Cup. His previous campaign at Chelsea included the club’s Conference League triumph in 2024-25, while he was also part of the squad that won the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Jackson joined Chelsea from Villarreal in July 2023 for a reported €37m. He has made 65 Premier League appearances for the club, scoring 24 goals and providing 10 assists.
A move to Napoli would represent a return to regular competition in a new league, although Jackson remains under contract at Stamford Bridge until 30 June 2033. His current market value is listed at €40m.
No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the proposed move remains at the rumour stage.
