Lens eye AC Milan midfielder Warren Bondo in transfer rumour
French and DR Congo midfielder Warren Bondo is reportedly the subject of interest from Lens, with the Ligue 1 club linked with a move for the AC Milan player.
Bondo, 22, joined Milan on 3 February 2025 and remains under contract with the Italian club until 30 June 2029. The central midfielder’s current market value is listed at €6m, although no transfer fee has been reported for a potential move to France.
The interest would represent a possible return to French football for Bondo, who made 34 Ligue 2 appearances before moving on from the division. He has since recorded 80 Serie A appearances, scoring once and providing one assist.
Bondo was born in Evry and has France and DR Congo among his nationalities. His senior club career has included spells in both France and Italy, with his current Milan stay beginning in 2025.
Lens are competing in Ligue 1, while Milan play in Serie A, placing the proposed transfer between clubs from different top-flight leagues. The rumour was recorded on 18 August 2026, but it remains unconfirmed.
Bondo’s long-term Milan contract means any move would not be a free transfer, with his agreement scheduled to run until the end of June 2029.
