Sunderland’s Noah Sadiki emerges as Galatasaray transfer target

Noah Sadiki, a 21-year-old midfielder with DR Congo and Belgian nationality, is the Sunderland player linked with a move to Galatasaray.

Sadiki plays in central midfield for Sunderland, who compete in the Premier League, while Galatasaray are based in Turkey’s Super Lig. The proposed move would therefore see the player switch England’s top flight for one of Turkey’s leading domestic divisions.

The midfielder is valued at €35m and remains tied to Sunderland by a contract running until 30 June 2030. That long-term agreement means the English club retain his registration and would be under no immediate pressure to allow him to leave.

The transfer link emerged on 18 August 2026, with Galatasaray named as the club interested in taking Sadiki from Sunderland. No transfer fee, formal offer or agreement has been recorded, so the move remains at the rumour stage.

Sadiki’s dual nationality gives him eligibility connected to both DR Congo and Belgium, while his age and central-midfield role form the main details attached to the reported interest. He is currently contracted to Sunderland through the end of the 2029-30 season.
