Tochukwu Raymond completes BSK Bijelo Brdo move after Wolfsberger spell

Nigeria midfielder Tochukwu Raymond has joined Croatian Prva NL club BSK Bijelo Brdo from Wolfsberger AC, completing his move on 17 August 2026.

The 22-year-old central midfielder has signed a contract running until 31 May 2028. Raymond leaves the Austrian Bundesliga side after joining Wolfsberger from Nigerian club Remo Stars in September 2025.

Raymond becomes the latest Nigerian player to continue his career in European football after starting out at GBS Academy. He moved to Nasarawa United in 2021 before joining Plateau United the following year.

The midfielder switched to Remo Stars in July 2023 and later spent part of the 2023-24 season on loan at Sporting Lagos. He returned to Remo Stars in July 2024 and was part of the squad that won the Nigerian championship during the 2024-25 campaign.

Raymond, who was born in Jos, is known for operating in central midfield and is left-footed. His move to BSK Bijelo Brdo takes him into Croatia’s second tier, with the club competing in the Prva NL.

He made the switch after a season with Wolfsberger, where his recorded competitive appearances came in the Bundesliga and OFB-Cup. The transfer gives Raymond a new setting in which to continue his senior career after his progression through several Nigerian clubs and one season in Austria.

BSK Bijelo Brdo have secured Raymond’s services through 31 May 2028, with the Nigeria international now officially part of the Croatian club.
