Axel Kouame linked with Al-Ettifaq move from AIK
Ivorian attacking midfielder Axel Kouame is being linked with a move from AIK to Saudi Pro League club Al-Ettifaq.
Kouame, 22, currently plays in Sweden’s Allsvenskan with AIK, while Al-Ettifaq are considering adding him to their squad in Saudi Arabia. The potential move was listed on 17 August 2026, with Kouame’s market value placed at €900,000.
The player’s position could make him a candidate for a role behind the forwards at Al-Ettifaq, although the available information does not indicate whether negotiations have reached an advanced stage or whether a transfer fee has been discussed.
Kouame remains under contract with AIK until 31 December 2029. That deal means he is not approaching the end of his current contract, and any move would therefore involve an agreement between the Swedish club and Al-Ettifaq.
The proposed switch would take the Ivorian from the Allsvenskan to the Saudi Pro League, marking a change of domestic competition if completed. For now, Kouame remains an AIK player, with the Saudi club’s reported interest the only indication of a possible transfer.
