Porto emerge as possible destination for Norwich forward Mohamed Toure

Australia-Liberia forward Mohamed Toure has been linked with a move from Norwich to Porto, with the Portuguese club monitoring the 22-year-old centre-forward.

Toure joined Norwich from Danish side Randers FC on 1 February 2026 in a deal worth €3m and is under contract with the Championship club until 30 June 2030. His current market value is listed at €8m.

The forward has started Norwich’s opening Championship match of the 2026-27 season, playing 96% of the available minutes. He also scored once and provided an assist in his only EFL Cup appearance this campaign.

Toure’s early-season involvement comes after he made three appearances for Australia at the 2026 World Cup, starting half of those matches. He has represented Australia internationally despite also holding Liberian nationality.

Before moving to Norwich, Toure spent the 2024-25 season with Randers, having joined the Danish club from Stade Reims B for €250,000. He previously spent time with Paris FC on loan and began his senior career in Australia with Adelaide United.

A move to Porto would represent a second transfer in 2026 for Toure, but the rumour remains at the linking stage. His long-term Norwich contract and the gap between his current valuation and the fee paid for him could be central to any discussions, while he remains part of the club’s first-team squad.
