Hull City turn attention to Norwich’s Australian-Liberian striker Toure

Australian-Liberian forward Mohamed Toure is being linked with a move from Norwich to Hull City, with the clubs currently in the Championship and Premier League respectively.

Toure, 22, joined Norwich from Danish side Randers FC on 1 February 2026 in a deal worth €3m. He is valued at €8m and has a contract with the Canaries until June 2030.

The centre-forward has started Norwich’s opening Championship match of the 2026-27 season, playing 96% of the available minutes. He also began their EFL Cup fixture, scoring once and providing an assist in 61 minutes.

Toure’s early involvement comes after he made the move to England following a spell with Randers. He had joined the Danish club from Stade Reims B in July 2024 for €250,000 before Norwich signed him 18 months later.

Hull are now the club linked with a potential transfer to the Premier League, although there is no indication that a deal has been agreed or that negotiations have reached an advanced stage.

The forward was born in Conakry and is eligible to represent Australia and Liberia. He has also appeared in three World Cup matches in 2026, starting half of those games.

Toure remains a Norwich player, with his long-term contract running through to the end of the 2029-30 season.
