Senegalese winger Ousmane Sow will spend the 2026-27 season in Poland after joining Jagiellonia Białystok on loan from Brøndby IF, with the Polish club holding an option to make the move permanent.

Sow is set for another change of league after a short spell in Denmark, where he joined Brøndby in January 2026 following an impressive first half of the campaign with Górnik Zabrze.

The 2026-27 season will now provide the opportunity for the Senegalese attacker to continue his development in the Polish top flight and demonstrate the attacking qualities that have attracted interest from several clubs.

Sow arrived at Brøndby after making a strong impression during his time with Górnik Zabrze. His performances in Poland during the first part of the 2025-26 season helped earn him a move to Denmark, with Brøndby paying about €3 million to sign him.

That transfer came only a few months after Sow had joined Górnik Zabrze from Lierse SK for approximately €300,000, highlighting how quickly his value increased during the period.

However, his time in Denmark has proved brief. After only several months with Brøndby, Sow has opted for another challenge, this time returning to Poland to continue his career with Jagiellonia Białystok.

The Polish club will have the chance to assess the winger throughout the season before deciding whether to activate the purchase option included in the loan agreement.

For Sow, the move represents another opportunity to secure regular football while continuing his progression after an eventful period in European football.

His attacking ability was one of the qualities that initially made him an attractive signing for Brøndby, and Jagiellonia will now hope he can reproduce that form in Poland.

The Senegalese winger will therefore begin the new campaign with a fresh challenge, having already represented clubs in Belgium, Poland and Denmark in a relatively short period.

With Jagiellonia Białystok holding an option to buy, Sow’s performances during the 2026-27 season could ultimately determine whether his latest move becomes a permanent one.
