FUS Rabat sign Morocco midfielder Hilal Ferdaoussi after Raja Casablanca exit

Morocco midfielder Hilal Ferdaoussi has swapped Raja Casablanca for FUS Rabat, joining the Botola Pro Inwi club on a free transfer.

The 27-year-old central midfielder made the move on 16 August 2026 and will remain in Morocco’s top flight after two years with Raja. Ferdaoussi’s new contract runs until 30 June 2028, extending his stay in the domestic game through the end of that agreement.

Ferdaoussi arrives with experience of Botola Pro Inwi, having made 97 appearances in the competition, scoring twice and providing two assists. He has also featured in the Moroccan Throne Cup, the CAF Champions League and the Excellence Cup during his senior career.

A right-footed midfielder, Ferdaoussi stands 1.77m tall and spent the 2024-25 campaign onwards at Raja after leaving Moghreb Tetouan. He joined Raja as a free agent on 1 July 2024, having previously represented Moghreb Tetouan after progressing from the club’s reserve side.

His time at Moghreb Tetouan began in January 2020, providing the foundation for a senior career that has remained within Moroccan football. His record includes one goal in six Moroccan Throne Cup appearances, while he played four times in the CAF Champions League and once in the Excellence Cup.

FUS Rabat have now added a midfielder with domestic league and continental competition experience to their squad. Ferdaoussi’s move from Raja Casablanca to FUS Rabat was completed without a transfer fee, with his contract secured until 30 June 2028.
