Wisdom Acquah transfer: Modena target Torino’s Italy-Ghana midfielder

Wisdom Acquah, the Italy- and Ghana-eligible midfielder currently with Torino, has been linked with a move to Modena in Serie B.

The 19-year-old defensive midfielder joined Torino’s senior club registration on 1 July after progressing from the club’s Under-20 side. He is contracted to Torino until 30 June 2029.

Acquah has yet to make an appearance for Torino this season, with his current record standing at zero appearances, goals and assists in the Italy Cup. The campaign has so far included one possible match for the club in the competition.

Born in Calcinate, Italy, Acquah has represented both his Italian and Ghanaian identities through his listed nationalities. He was part of the Torino Under-18 team that won the Italian Under-18 youth championship in the 2024-25 season.

The midfielder has spent his entire recorded development career within Torino’s academy, moving from the club’s youth team to the Under-17 side in 2023, then to the Under-18s and Under-20s before joining Torino.

Modena, who compete in Italy’s second tier, are the club linked with a move for Acquah as the young midfielder seeks a route to senior playing time. Any transfer would involve a player whose current deal with Torino runs for a further three seasons.
