French-Cameroonian left-back Alex Fanle has left Finn Harps and is now without a club after ending his spell with the Irish First Division side.

Fanle’s departure was recorded on 16 August 2026, bringing his time at Finn Harps to a close. The 22-year-old defender joined the club from ASPTT Dijon B in January 2026, completing that move on a free transfer.

He made 25 First Division appearances for Finn Harps and provided one assist. Fanle also played once in the FAI Cup, completing 90 minutes in the competition.

Before moving to Ireland, Fanle spent the first half of the 2025-26 season with ASPTT Dijon B. He had progressed to that level from ASPTT Dijon Under-19s, where he played during the 2023-24 campaign.

Fanle’s record at youth level includes 35 appearances in National U19 – Group B, with one goal. His senior experience also includes his 25 league appearances for Finn Harps, giving him a total of 26 recorded senior matches for the club across the First Division and FAI Cup.

A left-footed player’s preferred position is not specified in the available career record, but Fanle is listed as a defender who operates at left-back. His dual French and Cameroonian nationality forms part of his playing profile.

The move ends Fanle’s association with Finn Harps after a short spell that began in January. His latest transfer record confirms that he is no longer registered with the club and has become unattached.

Alex Fanle has completed his departure from Finn Harps and is without a club as of 16 August 2026.
