Hazem Hany completes Mansoura return after free transfer from Raya SC
Egyptian centre-back Hazem Hany has joined Mansoura from Raya SC on a free transfer, bringing the 25-year-old defender back to the club he represented before moving away in 2024.
Hany’s move was completed on 15 August 2026, with Mansoura securing his services without a fee. The defender plays primarily at centre-back and becomes part of the club’s squad for the 2026-27 season.
The transfer reunites Hany with Mansoura after his previous spell at the Egyptian club ended on 1 July 2024. He subsequently spent time without a club before joining Raya SC on a free transfer on 1 January 2025.
Hany made two Egypt Cup appearances during his recorded playing history, accumulating 176 minutes in the competition. His return to Mansoura follows that spell with Raya and gives the club a familiar defensive option as the new season begins.
The move represents the latest stage of a career that has included periods at both Mansoura and Raya SC, as well as a spell as a free agent between the two clubs. Hany’s role is centred in defence, where he provides experience of Egyptian domestic football at the age of 25.
Mansoura have now formally added Hany to their squad, and the Egypt defender has completed his free transfer from Raya SC.
