Como linked with Al Ahly goalkeeper Oufa Shobeir in Serie A transfer rumour

Oufa Shobeir, the Egyptian goalkeeper at Al Ahly, has been linked with a move to Como in Serie A.

The 26-year-old has been at Al Ahly since joining from the club’s Under-21 side in September 2019 and remains under contract until 30 June 2027. His current market value is listed at €2m.

Shobeir has been a regular for Al Ahly and started all five of Egypt’s possible matches at the 2026 World Cup. He conceded seven goals during the tournament and did not record a clean sheet.

The goalkeeper has collected a substantial list of honours during his time with the Cairo club, including three CAF Champions League titles and five Egyptian league championships. He also won the Egyptian Super Cup in the 2025-26 season.

A move to Como would represent a switch from Al Ahly to Italy’s top flight, although the rumour does not include a proposed fee or indicate how advanced any discussions may be. Shobeir’s €2m valuation and contract running through next season provide the available context around a potential deal.

He has made only one recorded transfer in his senior career, moving permanently from Al Ahly’s Under-21 team to the first team in 2019. For now, Shobeir remains an Al Ahly player with less than a year of his current contract beyond the reported date of the rumour.
