El Masry target Kahraba striker Ali Sulieman after prolific scoring season
Eritrean centre-forward Ali Sulieman, who plays for Kahraba, has been linked with a move to Egyptian Premier League club El Masry.
The 26-year-old joined Kahraba from Ethiopian side Hawasa Ketema on 6 August 2025, arriving on a free transfer. He is now being associated with a potential move within Egypt’s top flight, with his market value listed at €800,000.
Sulieman has scored 18 goals in 27 Premier League appearances, while also providing one assist. He has added five goals in six Egyptian League Cup matches and scored twice in the Egypt Cup, giving him an extensive scoring contribution across his recorded domestic campaign.
His goalscoring record also includes two Ethiopian Premier League top-scorer awards. He finished as the division’s leading scorer with 20 goals for Hawassa Ketema in 2023-24 and followed that with 18 goals in 2024-25.
Sulieman began his senior career with Red Sea FC Asmara before moving to Bahirdar Ketema in 2021 and then Hawassa Ketema a year later. His move to Kahraba represented his first recorded transfer into Egyptian football.
El Masry are now the club named in connection with Sulieman, although the rumour does not include a reported transfer fee or indicate that an agreement has been reached. He remains a Kahraba player.
