Al-Rissala SC bring in Lebanon and Sierra Leone winger Ali El-Hourani

Ali El-Hourani, the Lebanon and Sierra Leone winger, has joined Al-Rissala SC from Tadamon Sour.

The 35-year-old completed the move on 14 August 2026, ending a two-year spell with Tadamon Sour. El-Hourani plays primarily on the left wing and has been assigned a role in Al-Rissala’s attacking group.

El-Hourani returns to a new club after spending the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons with Tadamon Sour. He originally joined the side from Sagesse SC on 1 July 2024, having previously spent time without a club before moving to Sagesse in January 2023.

His career in Lebanese football has also included spells with Al-Ansar FC, Shabab Al-Sahel, Salam Sour and Nejmeh SC. He joined Al-Ansar from Shabab Al-Sahel in July 2018, after beginning his senior career with Shabab Al-Sahel and moving there from an earlier spell at the club.

El-Hourani was born in Freetown and represents both Lebanon and Sierra Leone. His move to Al-Rissala adds further experience to the club’s squad, with the winger having played extensively in the Lebanese Premier League.

Across 106 Lebanese Premier League appearances, El-Hourani has scored seven goals and provided seven assists. He has also featured once in the Lebanese Premier League’s Bottom 4 competition, recording one assist, and made one AFC Cup appearance.

His most productive league involvement has come over a substantial period in Lebanon’s top flight, where he has accumulated 6,240 minutes. El-Hourani has also appeared in domestic and continental competition during his career, including the AFC Cup.

The move represents the latest step in a career spent largely within Lebanese football. He has moved between several clubs in the country since joining Shabab Al-Sahel in January 2014, with his career taking in spells at Nejmeh SC, Salam Sour, Al-Ansar and Sagesse before his return to Tadamon Sour.

Al-Rissala SC have now secured El-Hourani’s services, with the experienced left winger joining the club from Tadamon Sour on 14 August 2026.
