Crystal Palace lead race for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Fares Chaibi

Crystal Palace are preparing an official offer for Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Fares Chaibi, with the Premier League club ready to step up their interest in the Algeria international.

According to Bild, Palace are expected to make a formal approach to Frankfurt shortly after becoming particularly impressed by the 23-year-old’s versatility in attacking midfield areas. Chaibi is capable of operating in several offensive positions, a quality that has strengthened his appeal to the London club.

Despite the player having a contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until June 2028, the Bundesliga side are willing to consider suitable proposals. The club’s hierarchy have opened the door to a possible departure and are not expected to block a move if the financial terms meet their expectations.

Chaibi’s performances in Germany, together with his appearances for Algeria, have increased his profile. His displays at the 2026 World Cup drew further attention from clubs monitoring his progress, adding to the interest surrounding the midfielder during the summer transfer window.
