Al-Arabi secure Nigeria centre-forward Sunday Song from Al-Fidaa SC

Nigeria centre-forward Sunday Song has joined United Arab Emirates club Al-Arabi from Syria’s Al-Fidaa SC, completing a move on 14 August 2026.

Song, 25, arrives as a central attacking option for Al-Arabi after leaving Al-Fidaa SC. The transfer takes the Nigerian forward from Syrian football to the United Arab Emirates, marking the latest move in his club career.

His position as a centre-forward defines the role he brings to his new team, with the move placing him in Al-Arabi’s squad for the next stage of his career. The deal was completed on 14 August, with Song now registered as an Al-Arabi player.

Song’s switch is a cross-border move between clubs based in Syria and the United Arab Emirates. Al-Fidaa SC is the club he leaves, while Al-Arabi becomes the latest destination for the 25-year-old Nigerian.
