PAOK consider move for Senegalese striker Cherif Ndiaye

Senegalese striker Cherif Ndiaye is being linked with a move from Samsunspor to PAOK, with the Greek Super League club reportedly interested in the 30-year-old centre-forward.

Ndiaye joined Samsunspor from Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade on 12 September 2025 in a deal worth €4m. He signed a contract running until 30 June 2029, meaning any potential transfer would involve a player under a long-term agreement rather than a free move.

The Dakar-born forward had spent the previous two seasons at Red Star, helping the club win three successive Serbian league titles. He was also the Serbian league’s leading scorer in the 2024-25 campaign after finishing with 19 goals.

Ndiaye has recorded 36 goals and 10 assists in 106 Turkish Super Lig appearances during his career. He has also played in the UEFA Champions League, scoring three times in 14 appearances, as well as featuring in qualifying matches and domestic cup competition.

His current market value is estimated at €5m, a figure above the fee Samsunspor paid to sign him from Red Star. PAOK’s interest comes less than a year into Ndiaye’s spell in Turkey, but there has been no confirmation that a deal has been agreed.

For now, Ndiaye remains a Samsunspor player with three years left on his contract.
