Philippe Lanquetin transfer rumour: Club Africain target Estoril U23 defender

Philippe Lanquetin, a French-Tunisian centre-back at Estoril U23, has been linked with a move to Club Africain in Tunisia.

Lanquetin is 21 and currently plays for Estoril’s under-23 side in Portugal’s Liga Next Gen. Club Africain compete in Tunisia’s Ligue 1, where the defender could continue his career in the country connected to one half of his nationality.

The reported interest comes with Lanquetin still contracted to Estoril U23 until 30 June 2027. No transfer fee, probability or other financial terms have been established in relation to the proposed move.

Lanquetin’s current club and Club Africain are therefore central to the rumour, with the potential switch emerging on 14 August 2026. The defender’s contract has more than a year remaining, so any agreement would need to be reached before he could join the Tunisian club.

For now, Lanquetin remains an Estoril U23 player in the Liga Next Gen, while Club Africain’s reported interest has not developed into a confirmed transfer.
