Foggia explore Roma defensive deal for Mohamed Seck

Senegalese-Italian centre-back Mohamed Seck, currently with Roma, has been linked with a move to Foggia in Serie C.

The 20-year-old defender is under contract with Roma until 30 June 2027, having moved from the club’s Under-20 side into the senior team on 1 July.

Seck joined Roma from Pro Vercelli’s Under-19 team in January 2024 after beginning his development at the Italian club. He has since made 58 appearances in Primavera 1, scoring eight goals, and has also played four times in Serie C.

The 1.92m right-footed defender has yet to make a Serie A appearance for Roma. A move to Foggia would represent a possible opportunity for Seck to continue his development in Italy’s third tier, where he has already gained limited senior experience.

Seck’s market value is listed at €600,000, while his Roma contract remains in place for the coming season. The reported interest from Foggia has not been confirmed as a completed transfer.
