Madih Talal linked with Chennaiyin FC move after Jamshedpur spell
Madih Talal, the French-Moroccan attacking midfielder at Jamshedpur FC, is being linked with a move to Chennaiyin FC in the Indian Super League.
Talal joined Jamshedpur from East Bengal FC on 6 October 2025, completing the move without a transfer fee. His contract with Jamshedpur was due to expire on 31 May 2026.
The 28-year-old, who was born in Paris, has played as an attacking midfielder and is right-footed. Chennaiyin are the latest club associated with a possible move for the player, although the rumour does not include a reported fee or a stated probability of completion.
Talal’s current market value is listed at €375,000, down from a peak valuation of €500,000. He has spent much of his recent career moving between clubs on free transfers, joining East Bengal from Punjab FC in June 2024 before switching to Jamshedpur the following season.
He previously played in Greece for Kifisia, where he was named the club’s best foreign player in 2023 and helped them win the Greek second tier in the 2022-23 campaign.
Talal’s listed Jamshedpur contract has now reached its stated expiry date, while Chennaiyin FC remain linked with the midfielder.
