Amine Gouiri transfer rumour: Marseille forward linked with Sevilla move
Algerian-French centre-forward Amine Gouiri is being linked with a move from Marseille to Sevilla FC, with the Ligue 1 club and La Liga side at the centre of the latest transfer speculation.
Gouiri, 26, has been a Marseille player since joining the club on 31 January 2025. He is under contract until 30 June 2029, meaning any move to Sevilla would involve a transfer rather than a free-agent departure.
The forward’s current market value is listed at €28m. Gouiri is primarily a centre-forward and prefers his right foot, while his profile includes experience in both French and Algerian footballing environments through his dual nationality.
The reported interest comes as Marseille continue to hold the player on a long-term contract. Sevilla, meanwhile, would be considering a player whose senior career has included a notable early achievement: Gouiri finished as the leading scorer at the 2016-17 UEFA Under-17 European Championship, scoring eight goals.
No transfer fee, agreement or probability has been established in connection with the rumour. Gouiri remains a Marseille player, with his contract at the Ligue 1 club running until June 2029.
