Allan Tchaptchet: French-Cameroonian defender joins RE Virton from Grenoble

French-Cameroonian centre-back Allan Tchaptchet has joined Belgian club RE Virton from Grenoble, completing a move from Ligue 2 to the Challenger Pro League.

Tchaptchet, 24, has signed a contract with Virton running until 30 June 2028. The defender joined the club on 10 August 2026 and will wear the number three shirt.

Born in Besancon, France, Tchaptchet stands at 1.93m and is left-footed. He is listed primarily as a centre-back and arrives at Virton after his spell with Grenoble, who compete in France’s second tier.

His move brings a defender with eligibility for both France and Cameroon to Belgian football. Tchaptchet’s dual nationality reflects his French-Cameroonian background, while his height and preference for his left foot add specific characteristics to his defensive profile.
