Ivory Coast centre-forward Hassan Aziz Sanogo has joined Yamoussoukro from FC Mouna on a free transfer.

The 23-year-old has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027, with the move completed on 5 August 2026. Sanogo becomes a Yamoussoukro player after a six-month spell with FC Mouna, whom he joined from ASEC Mimosas at the start of 2026.

Sanogo’s switch to FC Mouna was also completed without a transfer fee. Before that move, he had been with ASEC Mimosas since February 2024, having arrived from Ivoire FC.

The forward has featured in African club competitions during his career. His recorded appearances include three matches in the CAF Confederation Cup, where he played 105 minutes, and one CAF Champions League appearance, in which he played 45 minutes.

Standing 1.84 metres tall, Sanogo’s primary position is centre-forward. His arrival gives Yamoussoukro another attacking player with experience of football at continental level, following his appearances in both of Africa’s principal club competitions.

Sanogo’s latest move continues a series of transfers between clubs in Ivory Coast. He left Ivoire FC for ASEC Mimosas in 2024 before moving to FC Mouna in January 2026, with both deals forming part of his progression through the domestic game.

He will remain under contract with Yamoussoukro until the end of June 2027 after completing his free transfer from FC Mouna.
