Nigeria midfielder Michael Aduragbemi Oluwayemi joins FBK Karlstad in Swedish loan switch
Nigeria attacking midfielder Michael Aduragbemi Oluwayemi has joined Swedish club FBK Karlstad from Ostersund on loan, completing the move on 5 August 2026.
The 20-year-old will play for FBK Karlstad in Ettan Norra after moving from Ostersund, who operate in Sweden’s Superettan. The loan is scheduled to run until 30 November 2026, when Oluwayemi is due to return to Ostersund.
Oluwayemi has featured five times in the Superettan during the 2026 campaign, playing 51 minutes in total. He has not scored or provided an assist, and did not start any of those appearances.
The attacking midfielder joined Ostersund from Tiki Taka on 14 February 2024. His move to FBK Karlstad represents his latest change of club since arriving at Ostersund, with the loan giving him an opportunity to continue his career elsewhere in Sweden.
Born on 10 October 2005, Oluwayemi stands 1.77m tall and is predominantly right-footed. His listed role is attacking midfield, placing him in an advanced position in the centre of the pitch.
FBK Karlstad’s move brings in a player who has already gained experience in Sweden’s second tier this season. Oluwayemi’s five Superettan appearances came before his switch, while his new club competes in the division below.
The transfer does not include a permanent fee, with the move recorded as a loan. Ostersund remain the player’s parent club, and the arrangement includes his return at the end of the agreed period.
Oluwayemi’s loan to FBK Karlstad ends on 30 November 2026.
